Send Me.

 Then He said to me,

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,"
[Matthew 28:19]

As many of you know, I will be traveling to Kenya, Africa, next May. This will be my first missions trip outside of the United States. I remember having this dream as a young girl, and I remember when God turned this dream into a vision as I became a young woman.
As soon as I received the word that I would be able to join the group on this mission, I literally sank down to the floor and wept. It was the kind of weeping that was filled with nothing but complete gratitude and humility. I continually thanked Jesus and let my heart settle down with this beautiful realization that my dream is finally coming true.

I will be going with the non-profit Generation Next organization founded by Riley Banks. What an incredible young woman with a heart to serve Jesus! This organization is helping supply underprivileged children in Kenya and all around the world with everything from school supplies, bibles, to hygiene kits for young girls. Generation Next just opened up its first school in Kenya, called Pamoja, which means "together" in Swahili. I am so excited to see how God uses us during this mission, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the people I will get to journey with. Generation Next will also be opening up its first orphanage during this trip, how amazing! Follow Generation Next and its world-changing vision at http://www.generationnextcares.org

I encourage all of you to continue to stay in tune with me during the next seven months. This will be the most life-changing, perspective-shaping trip that I will ever venture off to.  So, please, contact me to share your thoughts, ask questions, even to just pray with me. Ah. I ask you more than anything to please pray for me. God is doing great things. I am blessed. I am His. I am ready.
Send me. #KennasJourneyToKenya

Sincerely,
Kenna
